They had been together for 10 years before Matt proposed. That seems like a long time...unless 4 of those years were high school and four of them were in college! Yes, High School Sweethearts! I always love hearing stories like theirs, because like them, I married my boyfriend from High School so I know how hard it is to do. There is so much going on in those years, so many changes, so many life experiences and if you can stick with the same person through it all you know you're going to make it.
Steph was giddy with excitement from the minute I walked in, not nerves, excitement! Then when she saw Matt during their first look she became the calmest bride in the world. That's why I love First Looks so much! It's like once the bride sees the groom the heaviness of the day is over. She is perfect. He sees her. She hugs him. He loves her. They celebrate.
THE DRESS! You can't go wrong with Monique Lhuillier
Tom's Dancing Shoes
Steph's make up was flawless!! She used the amazing Kriss Cosmetics
See what I mean!?! She is flawless!! I love each one of these equally and I just couldn't choose the best. Girl gives good face!
I was completely obsessed with the bride's bouquet! Can you see those twigs wrapped around the bottom? Stunning. Apotheca Flower Shoppe
I've been dying to photograph a wedding at the Bedford Village Inn. It is so picture perfect New England.
Look at all those colors! Such a cool combination. Steph definitely has an eye for design!
Her happy husband and a moment with dad before they leave for the church. I love everything about it!
Because of a few rude unprofessional photographers, a lot of churches are very strict (no flash/no center aisle/NO PICTURES AT ALL!) This church let us do anything! It's so nice to have that freedom. I'm still unobtrusive, not blocking anyone's view, usually only using flash at the start and end, but just being able to move around and get different angles is awesome. Like this shot!
Steph and her mom created the invitations and place cards. This is what I call a Magazine Wedding :)
I love this picture from the Father of the Bride toast. Groom smiling at his new father-in-law, daughter laughing, dad's hand on her shoulder. It's the hand on the shoulder that gets me.
The father/daugher dance was sweet and loving. The mother/son dance was fabulous and fun!
We are sending this picture to Toms!
Maybe my favorite of the day?? So happy!
