This project has been in the works for over a year and I had hoped to have it completed by this January, but alas I'm just now making the announcement! After a ton of work, learning more techy lingo than I've ever wanted to know, lots of trial and error and frustration, I finally have my new websites up and running. Yes you read that right, websites! I've split Rebekah Kay Photography on to two different webpages. Now my brides can see what they want and my mamas can see what they want!
Splitting up my brand has been a goal of mine for a long time and I'm so very happy that I've finally completed it. Rebekah Kay Photography is really two different brands with two different types of customers, so now I can focus on each separately and so can you!
If you haven't already, take some time to check them out! They have actually been up for a couple months now, but there have been a lot of kinks to work out and I think they all have been BUT if you see something that needs fixed, wording that is wrong, spelling errors or anything I might have missed, let me know! I'll reward you :)

Well I know I've been MIA, but I've had one million things on my to-do list before this baby arrives... and none of the checked off things have to do with this poor neglected child, ha! I'm trying to tie up all loose ends, get album designs out, wedding galleries up, family portraits edited, print orders placed and anything else I can think of so that when this baby arrives I can spend some QT with him/her. Having a baby in the middle of busy season is crazy, but I can't tell you how excited I am to meet this little one. ANY DAY NOW!!!
Now that I'm almost all wrapped up, I'm spending all the free time I have with this perfect person who stole the biggest space in my heart. My little Jay Bird!
My maternity leave is starting now through mid-September. I will still be replying to emails weekly and my trusty COC (Coordinator of Chaos) Becky Parker, will be helping with the rest of the office work (print orders/album designs/blog posts etc.) so you won't be ignored :)
Thanks so much for your patience during this wonderful time in my life!

About a year ago I photographed Meghan and Dan for their engagement pictures and I knew at the first shot how awesome they were going to be to work with! I mean, they practically needed no direction at all! They were "in love" and showing it without any prompting from me. It was so beautiful!
All this love just continued right on to the wedding day! I don't know if I've ever seen a bride as excited as Meghan was before the ceremony. You could feel it in the room and I think you can see it in the pictures. Their emotions were so beautiful all day!
I'm just so thankful I was there for this perfect wedding. Nine months pregnant and over an hour from home, some people thought I was crazy for attempting to photograph this wedding. But I knew I had to be there! Ironically, Meghan was referred to me by the fabulous Caitie and Ryan, a couple I photographed AT the Red Lion, two years ago when I was also NINE months pregnant. Isn't that a strange coincidence?! This surprise baby of mine wanted to follow in it's big brothers footsteps I guess!
I have been excited for this since that first image over a year ago. Now I'm even more excited to show you the images from this amazing day...
Huge thank you to Tara Lynn Sen for this awesome image below (and MANY more!!). I was so lucky to have her with me!
Daddy seeing his little girl for the first time...
Check out these fabulous bridesmaids gifts!
Black & White image below might be my favorite from the day!
And Dan said he couldn't dip...
The Red Lion Inn in Cohasset is such a fun place to photograph. Full sun is no problem with all of these covered bridges and walkways! This photographers dream :)
